Oh, I think Ms. Meyer could write parallel, sideways and upside down : )...There is an unlimited # of books she could write...Even though we get glimpses of some of the characters stories (which you get even a little more of in MS...Mean aren't I!) in the currently published 4 books, she could still tell Esme and Carlyle's story individually and their life "together" story. There is the whole pre-Bella story with Ephraim Black that could be told. The Jacob and Renesmee story could continue on...it's really quite endless and, as you will see in MS she knows her characters very well and I don't think you could ever say, okay, that's enough. I actually had a fleeting thought when I first saw MS. I thought how can this be any different the re-reading Twilight (which I do continually). But she is so deep with her characters...I just can't explain it. People who know I have read it and have not themselves will ask me,..Why did Edward do this? or That? or whatever? She so expounds on the characters that it is all very fresh and intriguing. Oh, yes I believe there could be lots more. But will there be. Only Stephenie Meyer's knows...
Good luck with "River" I'm sure it will be beautiful. I so wish I was musically inclined or anything artistic at all. But, unfortunately, NOT...I just so enjoy everyone elses talent. Have a great day! |

Ah, thank you. Yes, "River" is a very beautiful song. For me, like the twilight series, there are some songs that just demand to be learned. "River" is one of them. If Steph is goin to write the WHOLE story, I would very much like to read Alice and Jasper's story. Alice is my favorite. I believe we already got a glimpse into their past but not a whole lot was revealed especially since Carlisle wasn't the one to turn either of them. I think. (I believe he didn't turn Alice but correct me if I'm wrong)
Yes, I was once again THIS CLOSE to opening the first chapter on my computer today, but I believe this song will take a lot of effort in practicing to get it nice and smooth. I some times feel sorry for the people who don't have musical talent because playing a song is so so much more different than just listening to it. One hundred times better in my opinion. Becuase not only, in order to play it right, do you put your heart and soul into the piece but the heart and soul of the piece is the put into you. Its almost as if you can feel the music run through your mind into your hands to the keys, out the piano and back into your ears in a cycle that just feeds itself. I get lose the time when I play my favorite pieces like that.
You also have a good day, feel free to reply when your coworkers are bored of your twilight talk,

Hello, sooo?? Do you play Debussy (Clair de lune) too? ; ). One of my favorites since being introduced to it. Also just in case it takes longer than we anticipate for MS to be on the shelves, have you heard the piece on the New Moon soundtrack. I don't have the cover with me now, but it has something to do with "the meadow"...now, New Moon's only Meadow scene that I can recall is when Bella and Jacob are searching for it and then Bella goes on her own and encounters Laurent and "the wolves". The music on the sound track is very beautiful and sounds more like something from Twilight and Edward and Bella being in the Meadow. So I'm a little confused, but maybe it has something to do with her remembering Edward there? Anyway, if you haven't got the soundtrack yet, there is some very interesting pieces. And, since I am feeling a little guilty for tempting you I thought I would give you another avenue with which to put your energy. : ) Just in case you feel the urge to peer into Edward's true heart and soul before it is out in the stores...oops sorry there I go again.
So do you have your tickets for the midnight showing of New Moon? TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY....I am so excited. Trying to get a big screen set up in my house so we can watch Twilight, then hopefully read the last two chapters of New Moon (outloud, I love reading Twilight out loud...have actually got to do this for a couple of people...love it. Is that a talent? People say I do it well, but I don't know that its really considered a 'talent?'). Then, off to the movie....eeek. I just can't wait. See no self control whatsoever...that's why I HAD to read MS...I think I need therapy.
Also, in regard to Alice...James turned her. Remember, he tells this to Bella in the studio and then she tells Alice or she watches it or something. Anyway, it was James. I think he did it for revenge on another Vampire. But, yes, that too would be a very interesting line. And, by the way, other than Edward, Alice is my absolute favorite too; Then I would have to say Emmit. Emmit is absolutely hilarious in MS...well, on that note, I better get some work done. Write soon if you want... |

Well, there is an interesting story about Claire De Lune. It my grandfather's favorite piece that my aunt would always play for him. I never knew my grandfather but my aunt introduced me to the song. I have learned the first two pages but I got stuck after that. Still, though, that's better than my mother. See, she sight reads and there is just too many sharps and flats in the original piece. (Out five black keys in an octave, Claire uses four.) But, I learn from memory. Everything I play, I play by heart. Claire is one of those pieces in which you can't just "go through the motion's", like i said before you have to everything into. It is such a rather emotional piece and will sound like crap if no emotion is put into it. Anyway, I will look into New Moon's playlist, but it might take a while, schools getting pretty busy for me to work on more than one of my own projects. I'm in engineering so there's less reading and memorizing and more big project stuff.
I think I might just have to have a peek at MS now. Emmits seems really interesting in both the movie and the later books. He probably would be my second favorite. I know what you must be thinking, why isn't Bella or Edward up at the top? I'm not really sure. Edward seems too too complicated right now for me to make an adaquate assumption and for some reason I can't get a hold of Bella's personality real well from the books. I can sort of get it from the moovie but I know that that version of Bella might not be exactly like the one in the books.
As for the movie, I probably won't see it untill I'm on Thankgiving break, which actually might be the week that its coming out, Idk. I'm not a big movie anymore, there's not enough time for me. school.
My academics has always scored high on the priority list.
Neverknew.

oh yeah I forgot, there was something on another forum within the website, someone said that steph has restarted the book and an expected date would be sometime in 2012......kinda long ways away, but o well. I think I'd rather let the whole twilight movie thing pass then get back into twilight with the parallel books all over again. that way it will last longer if you know what i mean. i'm not entirely sure how true this is though.
so don't quote me, quote the other person who said it. : )
P.S. sorry for the unproof-read comments, i'm in a little bit of a hurry at the moment. The only way to live a meaningful life is to act upon your emotions...... |
